Where Can I Serve?

At Grace Pointe our focus is to reach the lost for Christ.  Our purpose through every program and outreach is to lead people to a God who can transform their lives.  Each one of us has been called to reach out to others.  Each person has been given unique abilities and God wants us to use those abilities to make a difference in the lives of those around us as well as those around the world.  Here are a few ways you can serve at Grace Pointe:

Mission Outreach

At Grace Pointe we believe Christ truly meant “…go into all the world and preach the gospel”.  It is very important to us to support missionaries and mission endevours locally, across the United States and around the world.  We currently support over 70 missionaries with our offerings and prayers.

Jail Ministry

This ministry reaches out to men in our county facility every Monday night.  Through music, prayer and scripture, the hope of Christ is being shared and lives are being changed.

The ushers and greeters at Grace Pointe fills an important role. They are involved in ensuring the safety of the building during services, helping visitors, answering questions, taking up offerings, and serving us communion. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Music Ministry

Honoring God through music is a vital part of our services here at Grace Pointe.  Having musicians and vocalists who desire to use their talents for God is very important in leading our church family into the presence of God.

Every Friday night a team from Grace Pointe travels to a locked-down facility to reach out to troubled and hurting kids (ages 5 – 18).  Each week approximately 50 kids are shown the healing love of God through this ministry.

Grace Pointe fully believes that prayer moves the hand of God. We are a body of believers dependent upon prayer. Throughout the week volunteers on our prayer chain pray for special needs.  There is prayer every Saturday evening from 6pm to 7pm in the sanctuary.  The Sanctuary is also open for prayer Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

Assisted Living Center Ministry

Every other Tuesday afternoon this team visits two local facilities.  They sing, visit and minister to the residents.  They have a caring heart for those who sometimes feel forgotten.

There are many areas not listed – become involved in ministry – make a difference!
