
Carthage Crisis Center
The Carthage Crisis Center is a place of refuge where families can go in hard times. It is a not-for-profit organization which has been serving the four-state area for many years. Executive directors Brian and Marilyn Bisbee minister to many men and women who need set free from alcohol, drugs, and other situations which have power over their lives. If you would like to help or volunteer for this life changing ministry here are a few ways to help.
Items needed - The Crisis Center would not be able to function without the help of donated items. Below are items in need.
Bleach, Pine-sol, or other all purpose cleanerCoffee, creamer, & sugar
Trash bags and zip lock bags of all size Sliced bread and sandwich meat
Milk
Fresh produce
Volunteers needed for new Crisis Center building
The Crisis Center expects to have their new building completed by the end of the year but volunteers are needed! If you are interested in helping please contact Brian at 417-358-3533.

Jail Ministry
Every Monday is an opportunity to minister at county jail. If you would like to be involved in this ministry please call the church at 417-358-8896.
Willowcrest
Willowcrest is a small hospital/home for children. Every Friday a group from the church go and minister to about 30-50 kids. If you would like to be involved please contact the church at 417-358-8896.

Dr. Dan Sheaffer, the former pastor of Crossroads Cathedral (AG) in Oklahoma City, known for effectively raising millions for AG missions and AG higher education, passed away Thursday.

Fisherman back on feet, thanks to Convoy, MAPS
Jimmy Morgan, an oyster fisherman from Louisiana, had his house and boat destroyed by Katrina in 2005. Hundreds of church groups, MAPS teams, Convoy of Hope teams and volunteers headed to the region to help families like the Morgans get back on their feet.

Klaude Kendrick, who served as president of three different Assemblies of God institutions of higher education, passed away Saturday. He was 93.
